1. Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Products: All almost naturally derived and they smell AMAZING!
2. Baking Soda: The uses are endless! More to come in future blog posts on ways to use baking soda! Currently my favorite is placing an open bowl in the fridge to soak up unpleasant smells!
3. Bath and Body Works Soap: They just smell good! They have an aromatherapy line that I love!
4. Eureka compact vacuum with reusable / washable filter: This replaces my broom in the kitchen and bathrooms. 5. Eucalyptus Oil: A natural disinfectant / antibacterial agent with a great smell that keeps your airways fresh and the air even fresher.
6. Microfiber Dusting Mitten: Washable and is user-friendly considering you get to use the power of your hand!
7. Lemon: Seriously the BEST sink disposal freshener in the world!
8. Green Works line by Clorox: A vast variety of naturally derived cleaning products at an affordable price. My favorite is their all-purpose cleaner.
9. Shark Steam Mop: Sterilize and clean your floors naturally with the power of water! I LOVE mine!
10. Swiffer Dusters: Handy little tool to get those hard-to-reach places. And you simply throw away the dirty pad when you're done! They're also scented so the house smells great after you're done dusting!
11. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser: Great for those crayon or scuff marks on the walls and floors. Also great for cleaning dirty tennis shoes, patio furniture, plastic, toys, etc!
12. Tea Tree Oil: Carries the same properties as Eucalyptus Oil with a slightly different scent. Great for cleaning a toilet!
13. Vinegar: The uses are literally endless from cleaning windows to conditioning your hair! I'll spend lots of time telling you about the uses of vinegar!
Where do you get your tea tree oil Sarah. After all the lice outbreaks I have had I like Audrey Bruce's suggestion that she puts tea tree oil in all the shampoos she buys just so that it is in her kids hair all the time. I just don't know where to buy it.
ReplyDeleteTea Tree oil is great and, luckily, seems to be one of the easier oils to find in local stores. I like Raley's here in town in their Natural Foods section. You can also pick up a bottle from a store like Trader Joes or order a bottle from Amazon. Another place I just recently found a bottle in town was at a local spa / massage studio. They use them all the time and will often sell high quality oils at a discounted price as they try to make room for new products. Plus they know a lot about the uses and benefits. But Raley's almost always has it in stock for less than $10.00 a bottle. And a little goes a long way! Hope this helps!
